ESSENCE Film Festival Returns Live!
Three Decades of Iconic Music Moments
Celebrating 30 Years of Black Culture
Get ready for the grand return of the annual ESSENCE Film Festival, a celebration of Black culture and entertainment. This year, the festival will be returning to New Orleans, Louisiana, from July 4th to 7th, 2024, for a special 30th-anniversary celebration.
The festival, which started in 1995, has grown into one of the most iconic events in music, featuring performances from legendary artists such as Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart, Jazmine Sullivan, and New Edition. This year's lineup promises to be just as star-studded, with headliners including Janet Jackson, Charlie Wilson, and Usher.
With the theme "Loving on Us," the 2024 ESSENCE Film Festival aims to honor the festival's legacy of celebrating Black culture and providing a platform for artists, musicians, and thought leaders to share their stories. The festival will feature a variety of events, including concerts, workshops, film screenings, and panel discussions.
